The Blueprint for Real Influence, Filmed at Neuschwanstein

We filmed this in front of Neuschwanstein. Disney borrowed the silhouette. Influence does not work that way. You cannot buy a castle overlay and call it a life.

YouTube titled this one around Knowledge Panels. Watch it. The conversation is the blueprint: authority, accomplishments, relationships, and proof that actually happened — versus PR that rents a logo.

Jack Wendt and Dennis Yu in Iceland, documentary travel still
Same trip energy: we go, we film, we tell the truth about the work. Iceland crater, not a stock mountain.

What did Dennis say in front of the castle?

“Influence is not a fairy tale magical Cinderella story. Influence is structuring the elements of authority and accomplishments and relationships and things that you have actually done.” That is the whole offer. I built High Rise Influence around it.

He used a doctor’s MRI as the metaphor. You do not prescribe before you look. If you want an honest read on your reputation, you let someone X-ray what Google already thinks. Then you decide whether you have the ingredients.

Why does fake PR make me angry?

Because it steals the word “influence” from people who actually served. Dennis described the product: a “Rolling Stone” that turns out to be a digest in a town you cannot find on a map. Fifty dollars. Nobody sees it. You still put “as seen in” on the homepage.

That is not what we do. If your customers will not talk about you, we cannot invent them. If you will go the extra mile when someone is unhappy, you have the raw material. The gap we close is the gap between the real-world reputation and the online one.

Where does my mom fit in a marketing video?

When I was 14 she died. The people who met her felt the impact. That impact was not written down anywhere that would outlive the people in the room. That is the thorn. It is also the mission. People who do real work deserve a record that does not fade when the room empties.

That is why I care about publishing proof, not slogans. Dennis Yu has been doing this longer than I have been alive as a professional. I am the one who turned it into the High Rise process I can run with a team.

What should a founder do after watching?

Do not buy a castle. Audit. If you are doing one to fifty million a year, you have clients, and you care what they say, start there. We have run hundreds of these reads. Fifteen minutes tells you whether Google already knows you, or whether you have been paying agencies to decorate a ghost.

The Knowledge Panel session from DigiMarCon NYC is the technical sibling of this film: claiming the panel on stage.
